This week, the flexibility of ROW 80 really came into its own for me. I’d been sick all weekend, I was falling asleep every time I sat down somewhere for longer than a minute, and I was overwhelmed by everything I needed to do.
So I decided to take a week off.
The fact I felt so much better the moment I’d made the decision told me it was the right one. So, this week, I’ve done nothing. Well, I have, but not so much writing stuff. Getting ready to go on holiday on Saturday, getting new photos done, catching up on my reading – yes. Work? No.
And because I’m away for another week after this one, somewhere where I can’t stress about all the things I should be doing, I’m hoping that by the time I get back I’ll be well rested and ready to work hard.
So, I’ll be back here on Wednesday 16th. And in the meantime, if you’re feeling a little stressed, cut yourself some slack. Take an hour, or a day, or a week off.
