ROW Check In 6

Super speedy check in this week – so much to do, writing and otherwise!

My goals for this Sunday were:

  • Finish first draft of Artist’s Impression short story – done!
  • Copy edits for Lucky Lucydone!
  • Prep for next week’s short story – done!

I’m quite excited about the last, actually, and that’s also my goal for this week:

  • Write first draft of Making Our Own Fun

I’ve got one of those inexplicably busy weeks ahead – the ones where you think, hang on, how did I agree to do all this in such a short space of time? So I don’t imagine I’ll have the story finished by Wednesday, but half way done would be a damned good start!

How’re you all managing juggling real life demands with writing goals?

  1. Honestly, I never have any idea how I make it through a week – much like bull riding I would imagine. Great job on your goals and best of luck for the coming week – you’ll do fantastic 🙂

  2. Excellent work this week. Good luck on aiming for Wed. Even if you don’t finish it by then, at least you’ll be having fun. Have a great week 🙂

  4. Great job, Jenna! I definitely understand that feeling of facing a hectic week — there’s a lot happening over on my end right now, and it’s looking like I’ll need to place a little more emphasis on the day job, and less on the writing, at least for the next couple of months.

Good luck getting everything done, and have a great week!

    • Bah humbug the day job! But, yeah, it’s all about balancing the different areas of your life as demands require, isn’t it? Shame my life mostly seems to be demanding chocolate, this week…
