ROW 80 – first check in

Off to a flying start with this ROW 80 business! First short story drafted, so should be able to get it revised and submitted before the deadline. It’s a bit of a departure for me – a historical rather than contemporary setting. Interesting to do, but I’m not sure how likely it is to be picked up. My voice seems better suited to the modern day, in lots of ways.

Anyway, with one down and six to go, this week I plan to… go away for Easter and relax for a bit, actually. All I really want to do between now and next Wednesday is get this short story revised and submitted, and start planning and plotting the other six. Then, when I’m back at my own little desk next week, I can get back down to the writing.

Off to check on how everyone else is doing!

  2. Well, best of luck meeting your goals this round. I like the boxes on the right sidebar of your blog. It’s a great way to feature those little snippets about yourself and your writing.

As for the video…are you a motorcycle enthusiast? I watched, and was thinking that the Harley blip was a commercial before the video you were featuring…ha! When it ended…I realized my error…lol. Anyway. I like riding on motorcycles (not driving them.) I like the air, how you can see everything, how free it feels.
